While fights can be pretty big and intense in HL2, nothing compares to trying to outthink the clones in FEAR. Nothing is more exhilerating than listening to your enemies radio chatter as they plot out a plan to close in on you. Add that to the fact that the enemy's weapons hurt you just as much as you hurt them, and you got yourself a winner.

F.E.A.R 2
F.E.A.R. Overall Comparison F.E.A.R a game of horror, and action. A story of a project gone wrong and in the worst way possible. F.E.A.R. 2 Same story, different viewpoint, more horror.

F.E.A.R was a GREAT game in my opinion and to be honest I didn't really expect F.E.A.R 2 to beat it when I first heard they were making a sequel. But was I wrong!, so very very wrong.
take everything in F.E.A.R, give it better graphics, more horror, and a nice chunk of the story and see what happens. F.E.A.R 2 happens.
I cant really say how it is better other than the fact that it was just like F.E.A.R but amplified. like F.E.A.R on steroids or something.
( I don't want to give anything away, so I cant really do much on the storyline comparison ) -- except. I don't really know why your a different character. It does add a nice twist. but what happened to the first guy??? (name: unknown)
also what happend to the rest of the original cast. I know some of them died, but some of them didnt, and i didnt see even one of them. cept for the stupid ceo of armacham.
meh... even without those things. F.E.A.R. 2 was still very very epic.last activity: 3/17/2009 6:03 pm

The random mini-games (for hacking and such) really kept you entertained as well , the game play, giving you a series of physical enhancements, despite the fact that fire and electricity are common, really had different ideas as well, and, though this isn't as innovative, I loved how your choice to save or kill the little sisters affected the end.
F.E.A.R was just another attempted pop up scare in my opinion, giving pretty gruesome depections to try to envoke fear, when in reality the game wasn't near as worth the hype of how scary it was. I love gruesome, but I don't like how it tried to use that as really the only scare tactic in the game. In my opinion the storyline was a bit etchy to follow as well, and not nearly as entrancing enviroment wise as Bioshock, it all felt like most shooters, through warehouses and things like that. The game play was pretty bland, not really appealing to anything different than normal shooter games.
Even though Bioshock is a single player game, and I couldn't see it as anything else, could play it over and over, for hours on end.gunblade111gunblade111 Level 9
