I never really got into the first Fable because I felt like there just weren't enough things to do as a character that was supposed to interact with their community. So for the most part, I ran around killing enemies and getting experience. Fable 2 though somehow connects with me more than the first one did and makes me want to be a good person in the game. I feel like everything I do really does matter, which I think is pretty cool.
The fighting is pretty much the same between the two, but I wanna say that the new one is a little harder to just wipe the floor with all the enemies for some reason. The first one did limit will usage with a mana bar, which made using will more skilled than just spamming spells when enemies are around. Maybe because of that, will became a little less powerful in the second one?
Worst part of Fable 2 though is the voice acting. Everyone has these waaaay over the top accents and the dialogue also tries to be funny and sometimes is just kinda tiresome for me.
Overall, Fable 2 is awesome and if you liked the first one, you should definitely give the second a go. If you didn't play the first one but thought it sounded interesting, now is your chance to pick up the second one and try it out.last activity: 12/25/2008 8:12 pm

There are several aspects in which the original is better, namely ease of will casting and controller response time. That being said, Fable 2's innovation drives it ahead. The abilities to work, play, fight, drink, bone, and buy everything in sight gives the game a unique and entertaining feel. Fable gave a lot of freedoms and Fable 2 very successfully exceeded that.
While I recognize that the story is not as strong as it could be, I think they have done a great job making the game fun absent of the main quest. You can simply live your life, amass a fortune and entertain yourself as you see fit.

Fable is highly customizable and is praised for it. It has been a big name in the genre since the time of release because of its great gameplay and all the effort the team put into the choices in the game.
Twilight Princess is part of the famous Zelda series and put many changes into the Zelda universe. Such changes include the removal of the magic bar and the addition of a 'Twilight Realm' which the game revolves around.
The reasons I think Twilight Princess is better than Fable are as follows:- Fable has a weak story, while Twilight Princess' is very strong and immersive.
- Fable's combat is limited to a few buttons, with melee, ranged and magic being the main forms of combat. While Twilight Princess has the same forms of combat, there are many different items you can use and strategies required to defeat the opponents than just hitting them repeatedly, such as transforming into a wolf to be able to see an enemy or having to fly on bombs on top of your boomerang into a boss. You are also able to learn new combat moves such as the helmsplitter and spin.
- There are dungeons and puzzles in Twilight Princess, which I absolutely love to do.
- Difficulties. Fable is much too easy while Twilight Princess was just right for me.
- The length of the gameplay in Twilight Princess is much longer.
- And lastly, the bonus content. The things you can do after you complete the game. In Fable, the only things you could collect usually ended up combat related, which you didn't need as you had finished the game, and while a few of the games played in the pub were fun, they got boring terribly quickly. Twilight Princess, however, has many exciting things to catch, such as golden bugs and heart pieces, and games to play, such as Cuccoo gliding.
Those points sum up my comparison of the games and why The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is a more enjoyable experience.CommandantCommandant Level 9last activity: 4/28/2009 9:04 am

It's a big MMO with a nice storyline and a lot of expansions for if you want additional storyline. especially Eye of the north. The Quests kept me the most entertained while trying to figure out how to progress in the actual storyline was, for some reason, a major challenge for me. took me about a week.
Fable: This game Is a regular RPG no online play at all. But the storyline and customization really puts this one up against Guild Wars. You can use all forms of battle in this game, where as in Guild Wars you can only use certain tools and weapons for each class type.
Fable also has that good/evil thing going on where your actions can result in a change of character. Scars on your body soon show from battle, and the world is your playground to do as you please
Guild Wars only lets you kill and destroy monsters, it is fun, but sometimes tedious. Especially when on quests. And not very realistic when it comes to battle injury.
Of course with Guild wars you can make parties and go on quests with that party thats a good feature, but what is not a good feature in Guild wars is the fact that you can only buy your persons armor at the shops, if you want to get a gift for your friend, youll have to find some other means of obtaining that said armor.last activity: 12/21/2008 10:12 pm

I compare these games because Fallout has a karma system similar to Fable's. The problem is that Fallout 3 has no real repercussions for being evil. Certain people will start to hate you but nothing in the plot really changes, except the main plot might become unplayable. With Fable if you are evil or good the plot continues and choosing good or evil in the primary missions actually changes game elements with and evil reputation people run away screaming or if you are good people love you. Fallout 3 has many unique elements but I found that many of the uniqueness is just kind of tacked on. The VATS system is really cool but it is basically an easy way to kill people at close range and at long range it becomes unbearable. Fable allowed me to be any type of hero and while the game without the lost chapters ends abruptly it was still a solid game with solid feeling progress, while fallout 3, I found, became a confusing trip in the subway without any reason. Also Fallout 3 I found that I could have climbed over some of the barriers between sections of the city that are cut off by rubble.last activity: 12/18/2008 6:12 pm
