all games are not created equal

One day I'm browsing around my local vintage game/comics/cards/toys store that my girlfriend worked at and a couple walks in.  They politely ask my girlfriend "Hey, we just finished playing Earthworm Jim and we loved it.  Could you recommend any other games that are very wacky and fun?"  My girlfriend, knowing that I would know more about the subject, politely says "I'm not sure.  *looks to me* Babe, can you think of anything?" 
It was at that moment that I realized "Man, Earthworm Jim was amazing and there's really nothing like it out there."  All I could do is say "The only thing I can think of that even comes close is possibly Boogerman, but that's kind of a stretch and it's not nearly as good."
Earthworm Jim really stands well against time with it's diverse levels including garbage dumps, evil science labs, the moon, and even "Heck".  This is only further complimented with a wacky cast of characters (Who can forget Pete the Puppy with a serious Mr. Hyde syndrome?).  Using your head as a whip and helicopter blade was just nice and fresh.
Boogerman makes it's claim by being the first (and probably only game) to make boogers, burps and farts a weapon.  Being a child that watched Ren n' Stimpy religiously every day means that Boogerman was a game that would never stop being funny.  Eat a red pepper, and your farts become a jet propulsion system!
This really is a no contest, though.  Earthworm Jim very much is a great stand-alone title (with an even better sequel), and I believe everyone else would have just as hard a time thinking of a game as wacky as this.
