  • Team Fortress 2 is better than Call of Duty 4
    Overall Comparison
    TF2 is better on so many levels:

    + There's actually gameplay, rather than RUN SHOOT RUN SHOOT CAMP SNIPE RUN.

    + Classes actually play like different classes. it's entertaining to have different roles to play in a game.

    + It actually requires team cooperation. It's very fun to work together and set up defenses while planning attacks, rather than running around and capturing points (only to have the other team take the point back 2 seconds later) and shooting through walls.



    That said (and with many unwritten reasons), Call of Duty 4 is still a very entertaining game. But COD4 just isn't THAT good of a multiplayer game. TF2 is.

  • Yea, I totally agree with that.  The classes in TF2 give players so many different ways to play the game.  I guess there are "classes" in COD4, but all it changes is what gun the other person will get shot by.

    Also, they keep on improving TF2 with updates, which is awesome.

  • I suck really bad at TF2 and most other multiplayer shooters (Metal Gear Online is an exception).  However I still thoroughly enjoy TF2.  Though it does get a little bit annoying when a class update gets released (such as the recent Scout update), and now 66% of players online are all scouts.  I suck with the scout, so I either stick with the Soldier, Sniper or the Medic.

    • First off, let me just say that scout is my third most-played class, meaning I'm pretty good at it.

      Second, not only have I stuck with the 360 version because I don't have a good enough computer, but because all of the updates overpower all the classes, which were already perfectly balanced. Except for the Pyro's blowback-thingy...that's fair.
