Jak and Daxter Overall Comparison The guys who made Spyro the Dragon
vs.
the guys who made Crash Bandicoot.
Disregarding that Jak and Daxter was rather innovative (as a free-roaming adventure game), something is beautiful about Ratchet & Clank (just as something is beautiful about Spyro).

(Does anyone play the games that I play? And am I making too many random, annoying comparisons at once? Seriously, feel free to ban me at anytime if I'm causing a problem.)

I've have Jak and Daxter and Jak 2 on my to play list for, oh, about 5 years now. One day I'll play em.
GTA + frustration - fun + Tony Hawk + original Jak and Daxter = Jak 2
And Jak 3 is a game that I never have played, and really don't care to. But I'm probably going to go through the first two R&Cs at some point ("Up Your Arsenal" kinda sucked, and Deadlocked is just sorta lame).
as games rachet and clank win, but if im just comparing the characters Daxter wins over Clank.

Anyways, I really enjoyed the first Jak and Daxter game, though I hated the ending and thought the game was pretty short. I also played through Daxter on my PSP and it is one of the most enjoyable games on the system, IMO.
I never played through all of a Ratchet and Clank game, but I've played numerous demos and can definitely see it's appeal. The guns and gadgets are all a blast. Also, the R&C game on PS3 (Deadlocked?) was really pretty to look at.
Deadlocked is the third R&C on PS2. I don't have a PS3, so I haven't played the new ones, but I don't really care.
Yes, the ending to the first Jak and Daxter sucked.
