Halo 2 Overall Comparison I'm talking about the PC versions of both these games, ( multiplayer )
Halo: Combat Evolved for the PC was outstanding, to this day many people still play it, for the online Multiplayer. clearly could be considered one of the best shooters for PC. The multiplayer in Halo was something new, something that the Xbox didn't have. Which made the game more uniqe.
Halo 2 ( Vista ): What happened? Well Microsoft thought it would be a good idea to use Halo 2 as a way to get people to buy Windows Vista. Not only was this game only for Vista users but it didn't gain as much hype because of the release of halo 3, and it was technically a 3 year long convert to the PC. No content was added, and it was basically the same exact game... Who wants the same thing twice?

I personally enjoyed Halo for PC a lot, it was fun, offered quite a bit of changes to the PC version, and not to mention for the first time offered free online gaming to Halo, as well as the customization and the Halo:Custom Edition, not produced by microsoft, but still offered a HUGE selection, variety, and allowed players to be involved in making maps for once.
