Kingdom hearts 2 IMO is a MUCH better game than Fallout 3 ( for some reason I cant really get into Fallout 3 that well ). I mean Fallout 3 is a good game. but storyline wise kingdom hearts 2 is better. But since fallout 3 and kingdom hearts 2 aren't anywhere near similar much less the same genre, the comparison would be pointless.
So here's my question. would it be better. to compare two very similar games ( fps on fps, fantasy on fantasy ) or compare games like ( rts on fps, modern on fantasy )?
there's a lot to compare in similar games. making decisions hard. but a lot of the decision making has to do with how good the game was which has to do with how good the storyline was.
so compare games via storyline. or compare games via little things? both or what? which one would attract more attention?
heck I'm enjoying world of goo demo more than fallout 3.
I'm not sure
I was just about to start writing a game comparison on kingdom hearts vs. fallout 3 with the intention of stating that im comparing them storyline wise... now... to me. comparing only ONE aspect of a game to that same ONE aspect of another is not really too terribly fair.Kingdom hearts 2 IMO is a MUCH better game than Fallout 3 ( for some reason I cant really get into Fallout 3 that well ). You bring up a good point though. Every game has a storyline, so you could compare all the games in the world based on storyline. Does that mean that whichever one wins is the best game? Nope. Right now, I seem to have made it so you can only do a broad comparison, so it makes it unclear how to vote if you agree with the storyline comparison, but disagree on the game ranking overall...
It would be nice to write a comparison specifically on storyline, graphics, controls, gameplay, fun factor, or whatever else. Then you could write comparisons against any two games and not have it be weird that you're comparing Super Paper Mario to Fallout 3. We could also use those to say which game has the best story, gameplay and so on, along with the best overall games.
