Prince of Persia is always a fun game to play, one of the main reasons is the Parkour sequences in the games. Story is also a very major part of the Prince of Persia games. It's a story that I love to play.

In WW (warrior within) The prince finds himself full of selfish internal conflicts. He wants to save his own butt without taking into consideration what might happen if he changes his fate. So you're fighting for totally selfish reasons.

In The Two Thrones (TT) You're fighting for your kingdom, well, half way through you are anyway. This is one of the elements that makes TT a lot more fun to play, because you're seeing the prince actually accept what has happened, and rather than try and fix the issue, he just progresses off of it like any normal human would.

Another thing that makes The Two Thrones more fun to play is how well the story carries over between the two games. At the beginning of Two Thrones the story is off, but is explained as to what actually happened at the end of Warrior Within. In Two Thrones the Prince is fighting internally with a part of him that he should have left back on the island of time. but instead it takes a physical manifestation when the sands are released and it consumes him every once in a while.

Overall the story in The Two Thrones is a lot more intriguing and interesting, and the inclusion of quick kills actually makes the game even more fun, as well as easier.

FIRST VIDEO GAME REVIEW OF 2010 ??!?!

It's that time again, yes that time that I review games that the casual video game player probably has never heard about (well they might have heard about guild wars).

Runes of Magic and Guild wars are both free to play games. Except Guild wars requires you buy it. so technically what I mean by a F2P game is that of no monthly fees.

Runes of Magic is, dare I say it, a clone of World of Warcraft. And dare I say again that Runes of Magic is a much better game than Guildwars IN my opinion.

Level Cap: RoM: 55, GW: 20, personally I like a larger level cap than 20, level 20 isn't very intimidating.

World: Unlike guild wars, RoM's world outside of cities and forts are not realy "disconnected" from eachother. In GW you would leave town or a fort, and then unless you had a party you were pretty much on your own, no other characters out there. RoM (and like a million other mmo's) does the classic everyone goes everywhere scenario. except for a few areas I believe, I haven't gotten that far to find out about those area's, I keep dying. The fact that it is open world makes it so much easier to find help on the spot with a quest.

Quests: The quests in RoM aren't what I expected they would be. the fact that you can do more than just kill things in this game really does add to the entertainment value of quests and continued playability. some quests have you gather materials such as herbs, some of course have you kill certain creatures, and some have you help a fallen NPC.

equipment: there is a larger amount of usable equpiment in Runes of Magic as compared to Guild Wars, but who am I to talk that way. I never got all the expansion packs for Guild wars all I got was Eye of the north.

Stupidity: RoM has walking/talking dog npc's that controll the portals... kinda stupid. guild wars takes the cake here against stupidity.

Anyway, Dekaron Global is Dekaron for everyone ever. 2 moons is Dekaron for americans, and 2 moons is a ... cruddy... version ( censored myself ). Dekaron Global gets their updates faster than 2 moons... to be exact its about a week faster. which makes the game better. not to mention they didn't make as much typos in Dekaron Global. and unlike Acclaim, Gamehi actualy does weekly server matenance and checks.  SO TAKE THAT ACCLAIM.

DnD's quest system is not go here kill this. no.. its a  storyline voice actors and all.

Guild wars does the same thing but guild wars you have to buy. also with guild wars there was like a cap at level 20 and then confusion. and then the repetition got to me and just yeah.

but I have to say that the quest I just got through with on DnD was the most fantastic quest I've ever seen in an mmo that I co-op'd through. I would go back and play it again but I'm getting tired.

  • Perfect World International is better than Ether Saga Online

2 games I've been playing a lot of lately and their both mmorpg's. Both games are made by the same companies and both games are basically built the exact same.

    the exceptions:

Ether Saga is more cartoony and "cute" compared to Perfect World. Perfect World is the more serious looking game and all the User Interface Displays are smaller than that of Ether Saga.

Perfect World has a auto find system. where you can go into your current quests list and click on the guys name that your looking for to finish the quest and your character will automatically start walking in the direction of the guy that your trying to find.

Ether Saga has something similar. You go into the current quests list and click on one of the NPCs your trying to locate and it will take you to them. but in Perfect World its just a straight line. in Ether Saga it actually makes a path around objects to so you don't run into a bunch of crap.

The one thing I like about both games is that they basically force you to do quests in order to get a nice amount of XP. These games aren't like other mmo's where you can just go in for a couple hours and kill a bunch of monsters to level up. if you did that with these games you'd be stuck at one level for quite some time.

Ether saga really catches your eye more than perfect world does. but Ether Saga just floods you with so much different crap that you find yourself not wanting to deal with it. ( hey learn how to do this this this this this oh and feed your pet oh and here's like a million billion quests ). Where as Perfect World International does not do this, PWI is pretty balanced. Finish one quest. you get another ( sometimes ).
