  • Soo... one of my friends just offered to sell me his 80GB ps3, complete with: head set, one controller, battlefield: bad company, resistence 1, motorstorm, unreal tournament 3, uncharted, ratchet and clank, army of 2, rainbow six vegas 2, and mgs4 for $400.

I know (or at least i think?) this is an incredibly good price, and I have been agonizing over whether to get a ps3 or 360 for the past 8 months (I know I'm late to the game, but all of my friends have them so it was almost unnecessary..). I think I prefer the games that are out for ps3 right now, but the almost everyone has told me that a 360 is the way to go and I think it's interface is much friendlier.

What do you guys think? Should I take the deal?

  • Your icon is totally from KoL...isn't it?

I was just wondering because I play also, it would be cool to find another KoL-er.

To be fair I spent several years playing Diablo II, compared to the mere months I tried to play WoW. However, I think that pretty much sums up how I feel about each game. D2 has incredible replay value, whereas WoW is boring until you're probably...level 60 or higher; and by that point you've already invested a huge portion of time before you can really even start enjoying the game. I can easily recall feeling no sense of accomplishment wandering around in WoW. I can only hope that it does not influence D3 as much as it appears to already....

I feel like SMB2 is actually the strongest game in the entire franchise. It is the most enjoyable and has offered the most replay value. My biggest issue with Banana Blitz is the Wii Motion controls and the stage difficulty. First of all, the way the stages are set up it controls are too sensitive to complete certain tasks (and yes, I have been able to manage the new Super Monkey Ball release for iPhone/iPod touch). My biggest issue however, is the progression of the game. The do not make sense as a whole and it feels like completely different teams were working on different sets of stages without communicating at all. You'll come off of a difficult level and the next one will feel like it is as easy as something you played 20 stages ago, and then the next one will jump back to being difficult.
