Diablo II
World of Warcraft Overall Comparison To be fair I spent several years playing Diablo II, compared to the mere months I tried to play WoW. However, I think that pretty much sums up how I feel about each game. D2 has incredible replay value, whereas WoW is boring until you're probably...level 60 or higher; and by that point you've already invested a huge portion of time before you can really even start enjoying the game. I can easily recall feeling no sense of accomplishment wandering around in WoW. I can only hope that it does not influence D3 as much as it appears to already....

I'm looking forward to the release of starcraft 2 myself.
I haven't had a chance to play starcraft. From what I've heard people love it, though. Perhaps I'll try out starcraft 2...although that does depend on when D3 comes out.
Y'know, I'm going to have to call this one a draw... They're both great for their own reasons... while i love D2:LOD like crazy, the incessant clicky-clicky got annoying. Not that it stopped me from playing it, but still. Even on my lowbies in WoW I don't get bored of it. Granted I just got my first 60 this weekend, and now I'm all sorts of stoked, it's been fun up until this point too.
Although I will be playing the crap out of S2 and D3. :D
I had a hard time getting into WoW. I think I quit with two characters both below level 30. Diablo sucks you in right from the begining. Though I agree with tf5, the masssive amount of mouse clicking was annoying, but otherwise the game was great.
I remember buying D2 and trying to get into it. For some reason though, I just couldn't. For WoW, I think I actually had the most fun under level 60 because after that, it was just running the same instances over and over again hoping for stuff to drop.
I don't think I have D2 a fair shake, so maybe when D3 comes out, I'll give it more of a shot. That is, if I have the time.
