    Overall Comparison
    KotOR introduced us to a Star Wars time that we had never seen before. Using D&D mechanics, it was a great melding of Star Wars lore and RPG mechanics. A satisfying storyline with believable characters, interesting worlds, and a twist that left me agape. KotOR 2, on the other hand, lacked interesting characters, a coherent story, added few gameplay mechanics, and the only twist at the end of the story was that clearly the developers had run out of funding or time, failing to live up to its predecessor.

  • 100% agree.  KotOR was a wonderful, original game that did many things right. 2 on the otherhand seems like the same game with no improvements and a few shortcomings.  If you are not even going to bother fixing the bugs in the first don't bother making the second.  Drive me nuts.  Don't ruin games llke hollywood ruins movies (Matrix)
