  • Final Fantasy VI is better than Final Fantasy VII
    Overall Comparison

    When Final Fantasy VII came out, it was touted as a gaming landmark. Its plot, cutscenes, and graphics all stood out as amazing. And they certainly were impressive. However, FFVI had better characters, better gameplay, and an epic plot that saw the end of the world and lived through it. And no amount of Cloud's morose dialogue can beat that.

  • Ooo dang!  Makes me wanna play FFVI just to see if you are right =)  It's been on my list of games to play for way too long.

  • I will have to disagree.  While FFVI did have a great characters and plot, it fell apart for me about 75% of the way through.  I actually got very boring in my opinion.  FFVII, while lacking character development, at least sees the game through to the very end.
