Warcraft 3 Overall Comparison WC3 just is the game i played most i think.
great game. great balance. just overall amazing.
then i played portal.
i was sold. cleared the game twice within 24h.
i was hooked. innovative. aazing. first person puzze.

i also downlaoded the "Portal the flash version" mappack.
some dude made a flash version of portal with other maps.
and some other dude converted all those flash maps into regular portal maps
42 more levels of portal gun fun!
and god, i love the ending song ;)

... It's hard overstate my satisfaction...
In my opinion "Portal" is the BEST pc game created so far.
In my oppinion the shortness of this game gives it an advantage that most games miss.
it gives it the ability to be totally unique thorughout with very little repetition.
and asside from the first few "training" levels. each level evolves on from the next one without the feeling of "grinding" your way through the game. by doing the same taks over and over. which is what makes this game great. it is unique.
