Grand Theft Auto 3 Overall Comparison Both of these games are incredibly violent. However, GTA3 doesn't give you an option to make killing everything appear even more gruesome without probable cause. Plus, GTA3 doesn't let you kick a peasant in the groin, shoot him in the eyes, then kill his wife and kids, then wipe out the entire town just for giggles.

I definately know what you mean. and the fact that fallout came out BEFORE GTA 3 only adds to its timeless-ness(?) Grand theft auto franchise seems to be getting worse with its newest game, but we all know that Fallout 3 will blow minds .

I just started playing fallout for the first time about a month ago. I loved the little bit I did play. Couldn't play much though because I was programming the site =P
I always loved RPG elements in a game; they just make it more interesting. GTA3 was cool because it was all freeroam and stuff, but the variety and story wasn't quite there. The only part of the story of GTA3 that I remember is that the main character doesn't talk.
I wonder if I will be able to kill hookers in Fallout 3 though.
You should. You could in Fallout 1 (after you slept with her)
