Metal Gear Solid 3 
Halo 3 Overall Comparison I know this is a cross-console, and even cross-console generation comparison but I felt it was still appropriate. I'm a fan of both franchises and I still feel that Snake Eater was better than Halo's latest outing. Maybe it's because I like the tactical, stealthy feel of snake to the brutal, blunt methods of master chief. Plus who dosent love the classic hiding in the cardboard box trick?

I can't agree more. The storyline in MGS3 was also incredibly engrossing, with elements of maternal relationships, betrayal, and conspiracy.
Yup yup yup. I found nothing about the Halo franchise to be ground-breaking or amazing. MGS, now that's a whole different story =)
I dont quite agree on the comparison here, for a couple reasons, and being cross console isnt one of them. Now I have played all the MGS games, except the latest ones, and I have played through all the Halo games also. I must say I enjoy Halo more, not only for the co-op, I just hate 19 hours worth of cut scenes, I want to play damnit, not watch a cutscene.
