Little Big Planet
Lemmings Overall Comparison When Lemmings came out, I swear everyone played it. It was a simple concept for a puzzle game and it worked perfectly. Some parts could get a little tricky with all of the random lemmings wandering around, but it was still for the most part fun. Worst part though is when you got so close to getting x number of lemmings and one of them falls off somewhere because you couldn't click something in time. Great classic game though.
Now, from what I can see so far, LBP could introduce a world of infinite replay value coming from users all around the world. The level creation system is very robust and I'm sure we will be seeing a good amount of great user content. It's interesting to see a game be mostly focused around generating content, but I think it could really work.
In the end, LBP wins because it's a step in the direction of community-driven gaming. Because the game ships with all the tools and encourages you to use them, I think we could all win. This could finally be something for those you like single player games, but always want more and more content.

LBP generally forces creativity. That may be a bad thing cause I'm not nearly as creative as most everyone else out there. Who knows, maybe I'll come up with something. I'm actually thinking about recreating "The Eliminator" from America Gladiators.
