Call of Duty 4
Halo 3 Overall Comparison halo 3 was the first game i bought for the 360. it was fun for a little bit but for some reason, i just really hated the multiplayer. when i started playing call of duty 4 though, i was really impressed. all the guns are a ton of fun and they all feel like you are actually doing something, unlike in halo 3 where most the time you are just wearing down someones shield.
single player too is better in cod4, but still annoying at times. once, i didnt realize that i needed to advance in order to stop the enemies from respawning, so i sat in one spot for about 5 minutes waiting for them to stop. i liked the variety in the missions in cod4.
overall, its all about cod4.

There is little question in your analysis. To me, COD4 is better in every aspect than Halo3. Not only is the single player more enjoyable, the multiplayer is undeniably the best.
I have to disagree with this, I love halo 3, I like it much better than CoD4. I think halo has better multiplayer options as far as games. Rocket Race, Griffball, great games. Also, the fact you can have two people on live from the same console is a MASSIVE plus for halo 3 for me. I usually play with a friend or two with me. I also like halo's plot better, but thats because it has stretched across three games and has much more depth because of that. I'm also a hell of a lot better at Halo 3, which influences my opinion greatly.
I actually totally forgot about the same console thing for playing on live. I really wish COD4 had that. It's lame to have to pass the controller back and forth when playing on live with a friend.
This caused a larger variety of gamers to try out Call of Duty 4. Leaving Halo 3 sitting with the usual Xbox Gamer.
All I know is that CoD4 definitely made me forget about Halo 3.
