Contra Overall Comparison both games are awesome, but i think mega man 2 has more variety in its gameplay. i just tend to get more frustrated with contra than i do with mega man 2

Magaman 2 box art may be in the worst all time box art there is. It makes megaman look like a pussy. That being said, I fully agree that Megaman 2 hedges out contra if just barely.
if you thought the box art for mega man 2 was bad, you should see mega man 1. holy crap
