Minesweeper
Solitaire Overall Comparison There are always times where you're sitting at some strange computer that has no games on it except for the default ones. When that happens to me, I always go for Minesweeper.
Minesweeper has several difficulty levels and it's timed, so there are several ways to play it. You can go for a personal best on any of the difficulties or just take your time on the hardest one and try to win.
Solitaire is just solitaire. It's fun until you've lost 5 games in a row and realize that there is almost no skill at all in playing it. You even do the ctrl+atl+shift thing to turn over one card at a time but still manage to lose.
Minesweeper wins by TKO.

Also I swear to god that vista solitaire is 10 times harder than XP solitaire. Ive only won like 5 out of the 100 games I've played. x-x
Freecell was meant to teach you how to point and click, simple enough.
Solitaire went a step further and taught users how to drag and drop using that same mouse button.
Minesweeper taught users that there is a difference between right- and left-clicking.
Who knew. Maybe one day, we'll find out that Notepad was used to brainwash users into drinking more Ovaltine.
