Bioshock 
Call of Duty 4 Overall Comparison I do love cod4, but the atmosphere in bioshock is just incredible. it has been a long while since i felt so engrossed in a game, both for its story and gameplay. Of couse, bioshock doesn't have any multiplayer, but looking at these two games from a single player perspective, bioshock totally blows cod4 out of the water. multiplayer in cod4 does add a lot of replayability, but in the end for me, bioshock did something unique and did it perfectly.

I disagree... Bioshock is scary and I don't like to play it without people around. COD on the otherhand is nerveracking but never scary. I wonder how I would feel if I could have gotten over the fact that it was a horror game.
I agree. Bioshock was just a great, innovative game in a genre that was just making clones of the same game (no offense to COD 4). While Bioshock was scary, its that kind of story I love out of a video game. More that just feeling of anger when a guy cheapshots me with a sniper :) Online would have been awesome here, but I'm not sure how they would execute that...
