  • Wanted: Weapons of Fate is better than Timeshift
    Overall Comparison
Both of these games take one gimmick and build an entire game around it.  In Timeshift, you can control time by slowing it down, stopping it, or rewinding.  In Wanted, you can curve bullets and shoot people in slow motion.

Even though the gimmick in Timeshift seemed really cool, it was really really lame in action.  The game played terribly and just felt cheap.

Wanted did feel cheap at times, but I still had a lot of fun curving bullets all over the place.  When you weren't curving bullets, the gunplay wasn't that terrible either.

Even though Wanted is better, you shouldn't buy it.  Especially at 60 bucks, because I beat the game in about 4 hours.  Give it a rent if you like, but there are definitely better games to play.

  • My biggest thing is that Timeshift has some fun things to do with the time warp, like stopping people from getting killed and then protecting them. Timeshift actually seems like they put a lot more work into their "gimmick" where as Wanted never really lived up to the epicness of bullet curving in the movie.

    • What I felt is that, yea, they definitely had a lot of cool ways to use the gimmick in Timeshift.  The problem for me was that it just didn't feel fun to play?  I'm having trouble putting this to words.

I guess cool gimmick, poor execution for Timeshift?  It didn't feel natural or something for me.
