MadWorld
Wanted: Weapons of Fate Overall Comparison Only because I've recently played both of these games.
I actually played through all of Wanted in one sitting. All 4 hours of it. I don't know if it was because I enjoyed the game or if I felt like I could beat the game in one sitting. MadWorld, however, didn't keep me playing. My sessions were maybe 30 minutes long.
The thing is though, I think MadWorld did more things right than Wanted and ended up with a better game. I have a couple issues with the way they pulled off the black and white effect in MadWorld, but it still looks decent. MadWorld also has a combo system that I think if I gave it a chance, could grow on me. Overall, you can tell that a decent amount of thought went into MadWorld.
As for Wanted, it does do the bullet curving thing right. It is fun to use and can product some cool kills. Mostly everything else in the game though isn't quite perfect. Controls are sluggish, some sections of the game are terribly annoying, sniping is lame, graphics look kinda dated and you pretty much fight all the enemies in the exact same way (hide behind cover, curve a bullet to get them out of cover, then shoot them).
I give this to MadWorld, even though I may have had more fun playing Wanted. I just know that MadWorld is the better game.
