I have a feeling @stone may have an answer =P
Day of the Tentacle
I absolutely loved Day of the Tentacle. So for all those who have played the game, what's another game that's just as good, if not better?I have a feeling @stone may have an answer =P

I know I left my share of reviews and comparisons for most these games, so I'll just leave some quick hits:
"Sam n' Max Hit the Road" - Funny and Witty dialogue, good voice acting, as close to Day of the Tentacle as it gets
"Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis" - Not really humor based, but there's a lot of fun puzzles and different paths make for a unique game. It's Indiana Jones, so if you watched one of the movies then you'll have an idea about the type of content in an adventure game.
"Full Throttle" - Easily my favorite Lucas Arts point n' click adventure. Has a bit of comedy, action, and just overall cool cutscenes and storyline. Also terrific voice-acting. Cool biker story set in a near future.
Monkey Island 1&2 - No voiceacting (oldest games listed). Good piratey humor, fun puzzles. Pirate themed
Curse of Monkey Island - Good cartoony style, good voice acting, fun puzzles. You may at least want to read a plot synopsis of the first two games, especially the quick character bios and also to check the ending of Monkey Island 2 so you understand whats going on. Not incredibly important to the story (you mainly get the jist of good guy vs bad guy), but it helps understand motives and the like.
"This Dig" - Not much humor. Good sci-fi story of astronauts finding themselves stranded on a near extinct alien planet. Great art, great atmosphere.
I've been in the middle of trying a few other SCUMM games that I never played, such as Simon the Sorceror. Sam n' Max would be the most similar to DotT, but the humor style doesn't appeal to EVERYONE. However most everyone I know thats played Full Throttle can really appreciate. It's just a cool biker story set in the not-so-far future (think Mad Max'ish).
Anyway, hopefully thats enough to help you make an informed decision. And yes I'm sure it was expected of me to reply with a long post yet again. It's a bad habit. I'm actually biting my tongue so I won't just gush over DotT. However I will end with a quote:
"Whoa, you're like, George Washington!"
"Very much like him according to my wife Mrs. Washington"
