  • The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
  • The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker is better than The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
    Overall Comparison
To begin with, both of these games are totally awesome, but I personally find that Wind Waker is the better of the two. The gameplay being so similar between two Zelda games, it ultimately comes down to the details, and I have to say I think the world of Wind Waker is much more interesting and engrossing. I found the sea exploration and treasure-hunting aspects of Windwaker lacking in Twilight Princess, which ultimately felt more linear. Finally, as a matter of personal taste, I even prefer the cel-shaded style of graphics.

  • It's usually so rare that I find anyone that shares my opinion on these two games.  Not to say that I didn't enjoy Twilight Princess (though personally I preferred the Gamecube version), Windwaker just had that unmistakable charm to it.  The world was huge (though 90% water), and the story was much more intriguing.  Also, I just LOVED the soundtrack, especially Dragon Roost island.
However, I will give Twilight Princess credit due to the boss fight against Ganon and the throwback to his more porkalicious days.  Turn back from wolf to human was just tedious, and I hated how you couldn't just teleport as human (Hylian, whatever).  The items were nice though, especially double clawshot.  However I still prefer toon Link's grappling hook.

  • Despite the fact that I'm not a HUGE fan of the anime / cartoon like graphics IN wind waker, I think that it is a better overall game because it more closely resembles the rest of the LoZ series; Though I REALLY liked Twilight Princess's Graphics,  I couldn't find it a true legend of zelda game, because of all the drastic changes, like (though I commend it) it was the first one for Wii, and they weren't really to sure of how to work with it I suppose.
I don't like that they put a curse on Link to where he became a werewolf, as far as I'm aware nothing like that has ever even been HINTED at in the franchise (Despite the MASKS which were easy to change to and from in Majora's Mask). So sure, both games are fun..and both have flaws, but In my opinion Wind Waker wins this one

  • Wind Waker to me was way better than Twilight princess for the fact that well. It was harder to beat. I was told that Twilight princess would be a very hard game, but once I played and beat it in 2 days it was let down. It took me a very long time to get passed Wind waker for some reason. Though it was still a lot more fun to play.

  • More or less, sailing around looking for fish with paintbrushes while the Ocean Theme played valiantly in the background is one of my fondest memories. Go Windwaker.
