So i thought maybe it was just bad luck...
Starting another game, i did the same, but faster. BAM, huge army flies across the map again and takes me down in a few swift moves.
Anyone got any tips? =P
I Got Owned...
Okay, got Starcraft, installed it and started playing, thought I'd have a go on multiplayer. The map loads, i build a few buildings. BAM! Huge army makes its way across the map, attacks all my poor peasant-like labourers, and leaves me cowering in a corner whimpering. So i thought maybe it was just bad luck...

It's tough when you want to get into a game online but can't because the learning curve is so severe. I believe that's the case with starcraft, unfortunately.
I'm terrible at RTS's like Starcraft. For the life of me I just can't seem to strategize in my head very well. I much prefer games that challenge my own real-time instict.
And I agree, Justin. It is rediculous to try and play a game online for the first time, after it's been out for years. That was my main reason for buying Quake Wars as soon as it came out. I wanted to start playing while it was new so no one would get an immediate advantage over me.
The game is awesome, by the way.
I'm getting there! It does take a lot to pick up. But after having a few matches with my friend online, I'm alot better at the game. And I can hold my own for a fair amount of time online, although, I'm still at the losing stage...
-Stone: Yes, it was the good old Zerg rush =( And the game really is awesome, although, the sound effects and things are so cliche!
I always hated rushing though. It takes a lot of the other elements out of the game and win or lose, it ends too fast.
